How it fits your process
Pour a sample into the glass test jar, float the hydrometer in it and read the scale where it meets the liquid. The Proof & Tralle scale shows both proof and ABV, so you can record whichever one you use in your notes. Line those readings up with your controller settings and patterns start to show. You'll see what a little more heat or a slower run does to the result. Measuring is the scientist's half of distilling. Knowing what to do with the answer is the alchemist's half.
The instruments are lab-tested for accuracy, and the protective tube keeps the glass safe between sessions. Beginners can use it to read their first sample, and experienced distillers can use it to keep steady records. It's a small kit that belongs next to the still.
