At some point a small still starts to feel cramped. Your experiments get bigger and you want more room to work. The 10 gallon Advanced Model is the next step. It's a complete copper still with 220V electric heat, from $1249.
Why 220V for a 10 gallon pot
More liquid takes more heat. A 220V setup is meant to bring a larger pot up to temperature. Since it's electric, there's no propane tank to swap and no open flame under the pot. Before you order, check that your space has a 220V outlet. If you're not sure, ask an electrician.
Room for real trials
A larger pot gives you space to test ideas properly. Try one variable per run and compare what you get. Over a few sessions you'll start to see patterns that a smaller still doesn't always show. That's distilling as science: steady observation, honest notes, and adjustments based on results instead of guesses.
The old metal, the new heat
Copper has been the distiller's metal for generations, and it still earns its place. Pair it with electric heat and you get an old craft with modern convenience. The transformation from wash to vapor to liquid still feels a little like alchemy no matter how many times you see it.
