This is the still for people who want capacity without giving up control. The 25 Gallon Advanced Model is part of the Alchemist's Advanced Electric Series. It comes fully assembled with a 220V electric heating element and a power controller. It is not a kit or a partly built unit. It's a complete copper distiller, built to the standards of Alchemist G. G. Wilkins.
Control is the whole experiment
In distillation, heat is the variable that matters most. With the included controller you set the power level and hold it there, so the pot stays at a stable operating temperature through the run. There are no propane tanks, no burners, and no open flame. Just a dial and your notes. Change one setting, keep everything else the same, and you'll learn what that change actually did. That's how a hobbyist becomes a scientist.
Copper, built by hand
The boiler is heavy-gauge 99.9% pure copper, joined with lead-free, food-grade silver solder and handcrafted in the USA. The EZ Seal stainless cap system makes the still easier to run and easier to clean. The 4 inch thumper port gives you room for infusions and easy cleaning. Copper components carry a lifetime warranty.
