Some people want a still. Others want a lab with more than one stage to experiment with. The 20 Gallon Advanced Model gives you both. It's a complete copper still on 220V electric heat, with an EZ Seal Cap on the pot and a 4 inch thumper port ready for a second stage.
Two stages, one steady heat source
In a thumper setup, hot vapor from the pot bubbles through liquid in a second vessel before it heads to the condenser. That gives it another pass through heat and copper. This is where the alchemy gets interesting. What you put in the thumper, and how you run it, changes what comes out the other end. Electric heat makes that experiment fair. Without a flickering flame, the power going into the pot stays consistent, so the differences you notice come from the changes you made on purpose.
Indoor-friendly by design
Running on electricity means no propane tanks to haul and no open burner under the pot. You'll need a 220V circuit where you set up, like the kind many homes have for a dryer or range. If you're not sure what you have, ask an electrician before your first run.
